Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy is a special time that is filled with physiological and emotional changes. Massage techniques are modified for a safe, effective individualized session that addresses specific needs of the mother-to-be. A specially designed pillow for pregnancy is utilized to enhance your comfort and relaxation.

*Please note, although massage is usually safe during pregnancy if you are experiencing any complications or a high risk pregnancy a medical release for massage is required from your primary care provider to ensure the safety of you and your baby.

Benefits of Massage during Pregnancy

*Reduces stress and promotes relaxation. Relaxation is one of the keys to labor and delivery.

Many of the same techniques and comfortable positioning can be used to address the musculoskeletal strains from pregnancy, labor, and now mothering tasks. You may also be experiencing a range of emotions, including stress, and the relaxation benefits of massage can be helpful during your transition into parenthood. Don't forget Dad- new fathers need massage too!
